I was reading a rather large thread in the LOL files the other day about a guy selling low priced pcs on ebay and supposedly suspected of being a scammer. A user called matt seemed to have bought one but the post never ever says if he got it or not? Maybe there's a post on here that clears it up but i've not seen it.

Anyone know?

:)

I don't think he ever did and I don't think he ever recieved his refund. BBz was either a scammer or just a VERY terrible seller without a lot of brains. My guess is scammer.

Funny how is nowhere to be seen now, though!

Really sad, the guy shouldn't be in the LOL files, cos it's not funny when someone steals like that!

I think that they did the transaction outside of ebay. It had something to do with BBz's account being blocked because he didin't pay or something.....

Hopefully he'll get his money back, and Bassments will get reported to the authorities.

Yeah, but Ebay should try an comply, as the transacation had already begun when the member was removed from Ebay...

Unfortunately Ebay can only give a refund of upto about £100 themselves, and BB will be in another country by now, so you will not really be able to do anything about it.

having dealt with ebay MANYYYYYY times in the past, some retarded scammers cant be helped. they cover their asses by emailing the bidders saying all bids and offers are null and void since the seller has been removed.

besides, using a credit card is safe. im 17, and when i call my bank, they get on the case like flies on shit. and its done

perhaps matt paid by cash or something other than that that wasnt exactly safe....

edit: moral? dont use ebay unless ur feeling secure with the payment method. or listen when peepz get kicked off. its for a reason; duh

Is this about CCCOMPUTING by any chance? i was having a read on here after being recommended by a friend & noticed the posts about Bargainbassment/Cccomputing, I can happily say i got my home computer from him ok a week & a half ago.

I must say that it did take a long time to arrive (4 weeks not 1 week as originally stated) apart from the long wait i am very happy with the computer, it is actually for my two son's that have just started collage & needed a pc for collage work.

i am impressed with the computer although i haven't had many chances to have a look at it, with that in mind i do know that all the parts are as they should be apart from the keyboard which is logitech not microsoft.

i think Cccomputing should send items a lot faster than they currently do otherwise these rumours start & will put many people of from buying, i was kept up to date but would have liked the computer to arrive faster & within the time stated NOT 4 weeks later!, i do feel happy with the system because i know it would have cost a lot more elsewhere.

im not sure if i would recommend him again for the simple reason being that the computer took to long to arrive, i would give 9/10 for the computer & 3/10 for service.

if Cccomputing is reading this then sorry but i would rather be honest with people

of a matter of fact no im not BB but wish i was as i would have gave a piece of my mind.

look at my post & you can see i was not sucking up to BB as there were many factors that i found unacceptable mainly regarding delivery times & is why im doubtful i would recommend him to anyone but i do think that some of you may have been a little harsh on him but then again it did look quite bad at one point so i think scammer may of came to mind.

i do think the system is superb but thats where the goodness stops as the service is very bad apart from the good swift replys but thats not always the answer as why keep emailing if there is nothing to say?

I have emailed Cccomputing to say that i have added some comments to the GP forums so will post on this topic is i get a reply.

im sure if you looked on his new website it would answer a few things

You can get locked up for talking to yourself.

Seriously though, I read the other thread when I was bored the other day, and this sounds like Hi-Jinx.

You write exactly like BB:

- the use of the lowercase 'i' being a major clue.
- the use of an exclamation/question mark etc, followed by a comma.
- Same style paragraphing.

You are BB. Different IP or not. It's you.

if i am BB thats the first i knew of it so thank you for clearing that one up & of course im BB even though i have a different IP Address & i live in a completly different part of the UK.

Nice try! if you miss BB then tell him instead of making out that im him as i can predict that every post on here saying anything positive about BB will result in people thinking there are BB as well,

Maybe BB has twins?
