Is anybody else a little hesitant in pre ordering a GP2X?

I can't help but feel that it will take a good while for some games/emus to become available that are a good standard. In this time the GP2X may go down in price and I will have just wasted cash.

Is anybody else thinking this or am I just being stupid and we will see plenty good stuff at launch and before any price drop.

Also does anybody know if comercial games are being made and who is on board. Also will the emus be free or will we have to pay?

Also does anybody know if GBAX take the cash right away or when the item is sent?

This is what early adopting is about. If you want to see how things turn out before buying, do so. You can't have it both ways!

im gonna hold back until theres stuff out for it and any potential hardware bugs are ironed out.

The problem is i want one, however if there is noting to play on it then it will be useless and no doubt get sold.

Even if there werent games (which I expect there to be) it's still a pretty handy video player and makes things a lot easier to view than the PSP in my opinion.

Also I expect there to be plenty of content around long before the price ever drops.

Cragix, just wanted you to know that there's something wrong with the ordering page on your web shop.. When I have calculated the shipping cost and click "proceed", the GP2X is gone and it says that I only have to pay the shipping fee
I don't dare order as long as the webpage is faulty

I've already stripped down Linux Frodo to have it in good shape to build for the Gp2x when the SDK's out.

How good is linux frodo? Is it as good as the GP32 version? Is it as fast? does it have sound?
