Who has read about this game?

i love GTA, i have recently finished GTA san andreas (Xbox) and thought it was awesome.. and gta vice city was good too..

Has anyone noticed the huge difference between GTA3 to vice city/san andreas? not just different vehicles, but the speed on the characters while fighting has been increased alot and so has the vehicles speed.. i am not fussed on GTA 3 anymore, if you play it now, anyone here will see that all the actions just seem sluggish.

anyway, i found these leaked screenshots just now on this site :D check them out.. i feel if rockstar know what their doing, which they normally do.. this game will instantly be one of PSP's best imo.

Dont forget, when you click one of the images it will be increased alot bigger than the PSP actual screensize so it will look alot nicer when running on the psp.

Why is Rockstar being so silent about this title? It just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't hype the heck out of the thing.

Anyway, I guess you're right that the graphics will look better once they're actually viewed on the PSP in full motion. A solid framerate would more than warrant less than amazing graphics. Gah, GTAIII's framerate was a mess on the PC.

I think it could look much like ridge racer, or any of the currently best looking titles psp has. Wait for the trailer, i know it will be good.

GTA 3 did indeed have bad framerate, it wasnt too good on my computer before i upgraded either.. but now i can run any GTA up to SA and it runes fine without any noticable slowdown.

From what I've heard it's based around Micheal Madsen's character from the first game (the foul mouthed guy with the over baring mother from the resturant on Liberty city's first island) and it would launch the same day the Xbox360 launches.

I'm sure it'll be as enjoyable as most GTA games. The controls are a questionable issue with only one analog so no camera control unless you use the Dpad exclusively for movment. But I'm sure fighting will be as good as San Andreas... but I wonder if they'll make you go through all the training and give you all the customization options.

if it has everything that gta san andreas has, including the eating, weightlifting.. get fat/slim and also the casin's and other minigames included i think it will be great. The only thing that did worry me at first is the total amount of audio, i would imagine this would weigh in along with radio stations 600mb's at least.. But being as a umd can hold up to 1.8gb and the resolution is lower than console versions due to the screensize, then i think it will all fit in fine.

I'm hoping it has at least 70+ missions.. But i guess you cant have everything.

i really hope the game has the bicycle and the planes/jets from san andreas.

Well there's no reason it shouldnt have everything a regular game has, the only thing that concerns me is the power consumption from the constantly spinning UMD. GTA streams most of it's content, the cities the radio stations the cinemas and voices are all going to put a hurting on the battery.

it probably preloads most of it, i have read that when you enter the 3 different areas of the game it is then that you get one of those loading screens, like in vice city when you cross a bridge.. its not really that big a problem.. Guess we will have to wait for a good review

Silent?

It's been extensively previewed in almost every gaming magazine known to man.

I just want to know the soundtrack, apparently its going to be mid to late 90's stuff, I cant wait.

This is correct.

Shadow, the facts are:

IN:

Boats
Bikes
Change Clothes

OUT:

Swim
Climb
Ride Push Bikes
Eat/Weights etc
Fly

About the size of Vice City...with shorter missions.

Micheal Madsens character was the Tony guy? Oh boy, I don't care much about GTA on the PSP but if Tony is in it I will need to get it. I've listened to that piece of Chatterbox like a million times,

"she keeps going 'you pawn(phonetic, no idea what he's saying here) this and you pawn that and you ain't a real man Tony' and it's driving me, friggin NUTS"
"So.. Tony"
"How do you know my name is Tony? Are you tracing this call? Cause if you are.. you gonna get real intimitely acquinted with, what your BRAINS look like. My name ain't Tony!"
"..err. Ok"
"So anyway, my mom keeps going "Tony Tony, you need to stand up for yourself, be a real man' but all I do is to be a good son, and I want her to show that she cares for me, show that she loves me, and you know.." blablabla

Not really structurally enriching the topic, but sometimes things need to get out :).

DONT take that for a sure thing. I hear everything will be included. well, not everything, but MOST will be. I hear jetcrafts, boats, bikes, etc, and other stuff. Rockstar isnt taking this lightly; they're aiming to please :D

In comparison the the preview titles, absolutely. I mean, these are the first time I've ever seen screenshots of it...

I guess I just don't look in the right places..

Yes it says on the site i posted that they have been around in a magazine, just not high res proper shots until now :)

i really hope that they dont use the same radio stations as GTA 3 otherwise the game is basically just GTA 3 already made but with different missions and added bonuses.
