Can somebody create a video of Movie Park playing a futurama episode(not all of it), I would like to see how bad 10fps really is.

Really it isn't that bad. The blurring effect of the GP32 fills in the gaps. I have justin Timberlakes new video and a few episodes of Non animated TV shows (which have a lot of fast animation) and its pretty much perfect. I'm a perfectionist in everyway and so I notice if something like aspect ratio or framerate is slow, and seriously its fine, I don't accept poor quality......why don't you just try it?

this has been gone over too many times, it does not look bad, it looks great, your misunderstanding tft screens blending with 10fps on your pc screen

you can search over kazaa or emule (edonkey) for "futurama gp32"

there MIGHT even be some chan on efnet, where people exchange stuff like that ;)
dont hesitate to query some guy called "ganjaway" there, to get more info

If I can watch the Matrix at 10fps (And I'm a fussy bu**er) then it's gotta be okay! B)

Trust us (No - Really!) you won't be able to tell the difference... Note: Pal is only 25fps, NTSC is 30! Don't mix up 'TV fps' with 'PC fps'... :D

I only have one 128 mb smc, which if full or emus and roms with all my saves. If I were to buy MoviePark, I would want to buy another smc.

I encoded a futurama episode with movielink, and when I played it on my computer it seemed kind of choppy and skipping frames(I noticed then when they were talking). Is it just like this on the computer? I can buy MoviePark, but I would like another 128 mb smc just for MoviePark.

Sometimes when people speak , since the frames arent all there the motuh doesnt move EXACTLY with the voice, its not liek delayed just not exactly. Btu ti doesnt look choppy. IT looks fine for the last time

Also, movie link provides worse quality. Try Virtual Dub. Most people pretty much use virtual Dub exclusively

I downloaded movielink and uninstalled it after first use, a waste of time. If you use virtual dub you can encode movies for the GP32 which are at a good enough quality that you can acceptably watch them on your PC without complaints, never mind your GP32. You don't have to encode differently to suit higher action scenes or anything you just have to experiment and find a balance of screen size and sound quality etc.

Buying a seperate SMC would probably be a good idea but I've got a wealth of emulators games and programs on my 128mb SMC and that still leaves me with enough space for 2-3 half hour episodes of whatever and a couple of Mp3's.....Actually if you don't mind me asking, what is your problem with paying such a small fee?

Oh and one more thing, if you download the unnoficial DIVX player for the GP32 from the gp32extreme download section you get a Gundam wing video clip included which has been reasonably coded for movie park, ironically it doesn't work with the included player, actually the player doesn't work full stop.

For a comparison of different encoding techniques - and sample encoded videos - look here (found this on www.gp32emu.com).

It's worth bearing in mind that although the slower framerate is noticable when watching on the PC, it's difficult to spot on the GP32 screen. This is because the TFT screen fades (very quickly) between the frames, smoothing the transitions. It looks just as smooth as TV pictures.

Seriously, I was worried about this before buying my GP32, and was very pleasantly surprised.

The fee is nothing, but if i were to buy moviepark i would buy another 128 mb smc. Right now my smc is full.

Dont worry if you think the fps is too low, a small handheld is alot different then a big tv. It will still look nice even if it doesnt on your computer screen.
