yeh bolcaxtian cool old school shooter, power up system like gradius,
You can tell when shooters "feel right" and this 1 does,

What 16 days later hinted at, this competition showed fully. The GP32 still has a lot of life left in the often overlooked homebrew department. :D

I haven't got a lot of time to report on each entry like I did last time but I'll be writing a few reviews for reviews.chemicalkungfu.de quite soon and it would be cool if some of you lot did too :D

Lilys dream is a really nice platformer and it's even got a couple of extra mini games thrown in for good measure! Really like this one

Factorize is dead original shooter where you need to do maths to play!

Pacman emulator runs very well indeed, not played it for long but even the sound is pretty good

Tanda has some really nice graphics and is really nice but could do with some more work yet

Pogys Adventure in Bobble world :)wacko:) is a nice bust a move clone but has a few minor flaws - I played it for ages and got to some near impossible levels but it's very fun!

It's really great to see some old games being updated here too:

Falldown has been majorly updated with powerups and better graphics, I'm sure loadsd of you will like it

Alien Eraser has been given a storyline which really brings you into the game with a solid objective, shame I beat it on my 2nd go and there's only one level

Pyramid 2 - nice storyline and very fancy frontend is now included B)

OMG! I have so many new favorites now. The quality of these entries are by far the best we have seen to date. I am especially enjoying the 3 quality platformers:
Crocodingus in Crocoland, Tanda in Bamboo Madness, & Lily

Other excellent games are: Bolkxian, Falldown, Nazca Runners, SmashGP,
Play with the Band, Pogy's Adventures in Bobble World, Breedz, GP Splash. & Pyramids

Other notable entries are: Tech32Demo, Deluxe Snake, Gmineur, Multipac,
Happy 2005 Demo (slick!), Guitar Tuner (cool idea!), Samurai, FireFire, & GPTron

I haven't gotten around to the apps or wonderboi yet, and a couple of games are giving me a fenix error, pixpang & scalextric: "not executible defined", I haven't looked further into it yet.

Thanx to all, as always! We have the best homebrew community around, and it shows!
No Sleep for me tonight! :D

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'll be posting some reviews over at Don's homebrew review site, you all should, too, there's plenty of material to do!

!!!!!BLU+ glitches in ADIC 2004!!!!!!

Tanda looks and plays like an awesome samurai game with the main character being a panda with a flaming sword, has sonic like graphics and everything....

BUT it has the blu+ glitch bar on the top obscuring 20% of the screen, really a shame, it looks so cool otherwise.

completed Bolkataxian on my 4th attempt and I'm just so stunned. I finished with full weaponry and the last big ships went down easy....

Anyone wants to try and beat my score, it was 1576400 - now I just have to play to improve on it :D
