BBC's are the ultimate retro machine

Elite

This emulator will be worth it for this game alone. Honestly.

Why not use this one?

That version isn't complete and has no saves. It would be kind of tough to beat it in one sitting.

What the hell is BBC sounds dodgy to me.

I have just looked it up, It is dodgy, to me at least. It kind of looks like a Speccy only worse. The good news though is the GP32 could probably emulate it at full speed with sound at FS0 at 40 MHz.

DaveC, you are in danger of coming accross as a bit of a twat...

It is just my opinion, I think I am entitled to it. If you don't like my opinion then to you I am a twat , oh well there is worse.

I don't think you are, but you're dismissing something that a lot of us would like to see on the GP32. The BBC contributed a hell of a lot to the video games scene. Personally, I never liked Spectrums, and wouldn't choose to use one, emulated or not, but I still think it's great that there is an emulator available for it on the GP32....

Fair enough, you are entitled to your opinion, but at least base it on something more than "it looks dodgy and worse than a speccy"...

I don't mean stupid 64 bit encoded website bullshit either..

I'm talking meet me on the playing feild and I'll kick your ass in person.

A BBC emulator will be worth it if I can play Grannys Garden again :)

I was at the Retro Gamer show this year and found a BBC on a stand and when I informed the owner how when I got captured by the Witch in the game made me shat my pants as a kid, she duly informed me it still has the same effect on her young children! :D

Hahahaha

Aye, was a great game, I liked the Yellow Brick Road too. Kids these days don't know what they missing...

Repton 3 on GP32 would be special, hope that's what this emulator is.

to talk about the second part of this big topic "Public Fmame Soon" , which kind of arcade games in the best case can we excpect fully running on GP32??

yes commando is a great game especially for its time, and if FMAME gets released that can support Commando and anything below Commando, that will open up a whole bunch of games for us to play on our GP32s. This is something to get excited about, not a PS1 emulator. :p
