it was playable on frameskip 3 w/o sound at 156mhz on mine. Breath of fire 1 and 2, not even playable on frameskip 8 its so slow.

glad you took it up! its been bothering me too...

maby the programmers of OS9Xgp could fix it?

what the hell with that??? Now i must play final fantasy on opensnes0.2 and supermetroid on opensnes0.3! What boring... !!!

i recently put ff5 on my gp32 using opensnes 9x gp no frame skip with sound at 166 mhz. and it works fine. but i use an option (i cant remember what its called right now) which increases the speed its called step up or somthing i will check later and get back to u guys!

0.2 is a little faster than 0.3, but 0.3 has better transparency options. So for Chrono Trigger I swap between the two. (E.g If I have to go to the domes then I'll transfer my save game over to 0.3)

I would be interested to know if the GBA style speed hacks done in hex editing would speed up SNES Roms (?)

im not sure about the hex bit but there is a speed option somewhere in os9xgp 0.3 which when i use it allows me to run ff5 + 6 with sound no problems at all :)

I looked around Osnes 0.3 but I wasnt able to find anything to speed the game...it is unplayable...
The only way I found to speed it up is to disable HDMA but after that all the GFX are grambled

could you look around and tell us how do you paly FF6 with sound?

see you

hey aldur please tell me about that speed increase option with the opensnes 0.3! Im just finishing ff6 on opensnes 0.2 wiht frameskip 3 and no sound....let me know

K the speed option is i think called cpu cycle or somthing but im not sure as i dont have my gp32 in school with me and i dont have internet at my boarding house :( but it is the bottom option in the hack settings in the menu if u put it forward a few thjingss it works fine for me!
