Os9xgp0.3 This Month?

yay i can finally use snes as a person with a gp that can only do 133 mhz this should hopefully make snes now alot more playable ( i cant survive without sound )

it won't be as fast as fgen32 or gigadrive - fgen and gigadrive has cyclone 68k implemented, but snes has no use of it so imo it'll definitrely be slower than megadrive.
Weell - errr... so where's the difference between an asm core and an asm core? ;)

Well I suppose a badly coded ASM core won't be as fast as a superbly coded ASM core.

However, as we've not seen were in no position to judge. Other than the fact that we know yoyofr to be a fantastic coder, so we can trust his work to be superb.

Yeah, but AFAIK he didn't code the core ;)
But Rlyeh didn't code the asm core either :)

I'm getting a _counter vibe from him...

Anyways...hopefully it's all true. As it's been almost 8 months since a new version of OS9XGP has been released. As for dynamic loading, hopefully it won't be as bad as it is for GPAdvance on some games (Let the demo play for Castlevania Circle of the Moon).

Cant wait.

Even faster Aerobiz. Maybe ISS playable with sound.

It's all good. It's all gravy. Baby.

I remember there was a list for gba 4 meg gba roms. Is there a similar way to see a list of all the 3 meg or under snes roms?
Should be possible with one of the dat-files for the audition tools. They're usually plain ASCII. Maybe one has the filesize in it.
Would be easy to write a small tool which only lists the ones with a smaller filesize.

His post sounds BS to me. I'm not even taking it with a grain of salt.

If you have all your SNES ROMs in the same directory on your PC, you can just list the directory by size -- that way all the biggest ones will be at the top and you'll get a rough idea of which ones will be too big (not exact because they're probably zipped).

Yeah that is what I thought. The post seems totally bogus to me, complete flummery.

I mean Yoyo speaks a "special French"? And who else would understand this "special French"? Maybe this means "don't translate the message, you will find out the real meaning"

I have heard that Yoyo doesn't have time to code anymore. Good for zodiac owners, bad for us. This probably means we will see an update from between tomorrow and never, probably closer to never :(

So, if this is to be believed, there'll be a new version soon but it won't be all singing, all dancing but he does plan to release updates in the future. Neat!

There is some things as special french. People in Canada don't speak the same exact french as people in France do, the people in Canada mix there french with other words making whole new words to there vocabulary, that is special french.

i hope that osnes is released next week
full speed snes would make my year even if it only have a 3mb limit
that's why i bought my gp32

and if he does release the source maybe dynamic loading or 32mb support will be added later

Now that confused me. Did he say yoyo had a nice ass?
No I think the post was about French toasters. I am not sure what toasters have to do with emulators so I guess we will just have to wait and see :D
