what is the best terminal editor fur a thumb keyboard?
I was ok with vi on there zaurus
but there must be something better, if not specifically fur such devices.

I am generally a vim user, but I am considering EMACS because ESCAPE-META-ALT-CONTROL-SHIFT actually seems a reasonable combination on the Pyra as it has shoulder buttons/keys.

really? when there are native notepad like solutions like mousepad, pluma or gEdit. Personally for a graphical text editor I mostly use geany.

Actually does anyone know a decent notepad++ alternative for Linux? That's probably my favourite editor
Like I said Geany, it's prob closest thing for native solutions. Jedit would compare, that is a java program though, so not a favorable in my mind.

geany kate eclipse idle just pick one
Eclipse is a bloated crapware, no one should use that. if you're going with Java solutions, I'd suggest jEdit or Netbeans.
