I just went to goodwill and I came across a sega saturn + 4 games for $30, so I bought it and am now I am looking into some more games for it. I've met some people around GP32x who have saturns and I am wondering if anyone is willing to offer me some games... I am mainly looking for Shining the Holy Ark and especially Shining Force 3 scenario 1. I don't know much about the other saturn games, but NiGHTS into Dreams sounds interesting. If anyone is selling, I would appreciate if you would offer me in this topic. The games that came with it are Virtua Cop, Astal, Tomb Raider, and Alone in the Dark.

The NTSC and PAL versoin of Panzer Dragoon Saga are like 100-200 pounds on ebay, good luck buying one. I bought the Japanese version of Panzer Dragoon Saga, it is wonderful, I had the PAL version, but I sold it, so I go the Japanese version now, I am not selling it by the way, I just wanted to tantalize you.

thats a bit over my budget... but I could maybe buy a modchip for my saturn and just download the ISO off mIRC or something and burn it to a CD...

Hey, what is that little cartridge that says "Backup" and has some little CD pictures on it? It came in the bag that I got my saturn and I have no idea what to use it for...

Intriguing, I have a cart to play non-PAL games but not backups...

I've chipped mine anyway, had to play Panzer Dragoon Saga but I'm not paying £100!

I have a ST-Key which is perfect for playing any import game, but I am not sure about back ups...I will try it later.

Hi there Efompor, I have an import SHining Force 3 Scenario 1 I got from a large Saturn import lot I got from Japan. The game is a mint import, there is no spine card but everything else is included. Remember, this is an import, and requires a special adapter to play it. Let me know if you are interested.
:)

Thanks!

Rpgchocobo, i don't know japanese, so the game would be kinda hard to play in the first place, and also it would probably be very expensive to buy an adapter for the playing of japanese games, so I guess I will try and find the US version. But thanks anyway :)

But damn the US version is real hard to get too, you have to spend at least $50 on all the ebay auctions I've seen for it so far

EDIT: I found out what the backup cartridge was for, it's just a memory card kind of thing in case your saturn's internal battery dies

Ah, it probably has more space than the Saturn's internal memory. Useful to shift things onto that you're not playing at the moment.

Ahh, I do not know of any Japanese either, and the game is still fun. There is an online guid for them on gamefaqs I think too. an adapter to play the Japanese games is like $10 from ncsx.com or $29 for the 4/5 in one cart.
