New Pc-engine Emulator

That would be VERY pointless. I'm pretty sure Black is still going to update it. And why would someone report something from a PC when the developer for a PC-Engine emulator on the GBA just got a GP32 and can port his emulator?

Well, a couple of months ago there was news that there was definitely an update in the works. I imagine the project is basically on the back burner just being added to from time to time. It'll be nice to see it when it happens though.

Just because he got a GP32 doesn't mean that he will port his emu, he may stick with GBA. As far as Black there has been no news for ages, for all we know it may not be updated for a very long time, if ever. Too bad we couldn't get the source to GPengine and fix it up, that would be the easiest.

@ vader: not, it wasn´t enf65 who made the PCE emu for GBA. FluBBA, creator of Goomba and PCEAdvance, coder of PocketNES has done that. He won the GP32 BLU on the GBAX 2004 extended compo for his PCE emulator PCEAdvance which has quite a good speed and CD (!!!) emualtion.

Now that's something I'd love to see. Some of the PCEngine's best games were on CD, and it's a real pity they're not supported on GPEngine. It's a class emulator as it is, but I can't wait for an update.

yeah I second you on that :) it's really my dream to see a PCE emu with CD emulation & save states (/dreaming mood : ok I can add the multiplayer support using RF unit ;p) rhaaaaaaaaaaa toooo lovely
I can't immagine playing Star Parodia on the way
Or Dracula X maybe ??? ;p hummm if not I would take L-Dis (not famous but really great shooter with cute graphics imho) & soooo much more (the list would be too long ;p)

if that kind of perfect PCE emu arrive on GP then it'll make alot of ppl buy a couple of new SMC

unfortunatly obviously we got no news from the GPEngine creator since sooo long :(
the only hope would be coming from FluBBA if he find interests in programming for GP32 ;)

a little bit inferior, but only because it uses speedhacks, otherwise it would be too slow.

EDIT:

OK, i got some good and some bad news for ya:

good news:

Flubba wants to take a look at the source of GPEngine and wants to contribute (take over) to the emulator

Bad news:

He emailed Black for the source, but Black didn´t reply, yet

Maybe it would be more easy & fast to port directly his own PCE emu from gba world to GP32 ... we haven't hear about Black since sooooo long :(

but anyway I really pray that he will answer his mail & that finaly they will work together for making the best PCE emu possible :)
