The Most Horrible Games Of All Time!

Bad Dudes, NARC(the old one that was on arcade and NES), 8 Eyes, Urban Champion, Mighty Bomb Jack, BattleToads & Double Dragon, Twisted Metal 3, Metroid Prime, Super Smash Brothers, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Sim Earth, Ghost Recon(every single one I've tried blows), Perfect Dark, GoldenEye(every other 007 game I've ever played, for that matter), and Final Fantasy 8.

There's probably more I could add to that list, but it's all I can think of at the moment.
This is the most horrible games, not the most overrated games or biggest letdowns (or more likely "games I don't like because they are mainstream and the mainstream is bad fuck the mainstream!").

Sure, you might not like them, but to consider them worse than the likes of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is bizzare.

Moonwalker in the arcade was actually quite good.

Ok, i heard zool being mentioned.

WHO THE FUCK NOMINATED ZOOL!?!?

I never had a 3DO, but I was browsing the list of titles like 2 days ago.

How the HELL did any of those games get past inspection? My eyes were bleeding.

64-bits my ass!

Bet you it could run on the 2X!

also:

GTA series
Animal Crossing series
Megaman Transmisson (GC)
Megaman (the ones on the "internet" where you play with cards or whatever-GBA/DS)
Perfect Dark (worst controls ever since..
Resident Evil. (also crap b/c of controls...I did love 4 though..they finally fixed em!)

it was a 32-bit system and some games were very good. (despite the laggy controls)
return fire comes to mind. And that sailor moon fighting game.
but a lot of the interactive movies were excellent too. critical path, phychic detective, nightrap, and that's not even bothering to mention all the pornographic ones. There are too few pornographic console games these days--released in north america anyway... I really want to get a copy of 'The Coven' for that system...rawr...

but the GBA need for speeds were way way better than the 3do one... and prettier...

anyway, getting back on topic, the Home Improvement game for SNES is beyond awful. I didn't get much past where tim allen fights fire-breathing dinosaurs (huh?, yep). I guess I missed that episode too--must have been one heckuva sweeps week.

easy, the first tmnt game that was made for nes, it was nothing like the arcade game. the ones after that were made by konami and are the greatest games ever!

Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine, for NES by Software Toolworks (sublicensed from Nintendo, of course).

You can't hide edutainment with Mario & Luigi, or even with graphics and sound "adapted" from SMW for SNES.

Total crap...now to delete them from Little John.

MadCatz's MC Groovz Dance Beat..

I got it free wih my second pad for DDR:Mario

The Pad's nice but the game sucks

Checkerd Flag for the Jag = worst driving game EVER, EEEEVVVEERRR!!!!!!!!!
Kasumi Ninja for the Jag=worst fighting game EVER
Kung Food for the Lynx= worst portable game EVER

Excellent thread!

Ducati World,Spirit of Speed, Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 all for Dreamcast.
The Dreamcast still has some of the best games out there, but those 3 are so bad it`s not even funny.

Any EA sports titles can join the list as well.

Hi-octane for sega saturn is a good pick:)

it was a terrible driving game, but it did have a catchy theme song which helps redeem it. ...and now that it's stuck in my head again the only way to remove it is with an icepick.

but there are those bad games out there without catchy music... the game.com duke nukem 3d comes to mind *shudders*
and who could forget 'Slam City' on 32x/CD. The, I-spent-$500-on-game-hardware-to-play-this? game. It's enough to make you cut yourself. Especially when you compare it to more ordinary lousy titles like Tomb Raider X:memorize the map but die anyway edition.

i think my top 2 worst games ever would have to be home alone 2 and shadowgate, both on the nes.
home alone 2 wasnt a bad game as such, but it was incredibly frustrating and made me take chunks out of the wall after chucking my controller at it.
shadowgate was, after elite, the most memorable game ive played because it was so bad (elite because it was so good). the music was mostly horribly out of tune and repetitive, the game was short, the puzzles were so incredibly illogical that you had to try every possible way to do it before you worked out how to actually tie the rope to the goddamn bucket.

further down in the list are c&c tiberian sun on the peecee (nice try, but so boring), a game called something like special ops for the ps2 (looked and played like it had been made during someones cig break), and goldeneye on the n64. i know thats a point of contention with many people, but i just could not play with those controllers and configs so thats why it gets low marks.
