and ffIII is unplayable :/

i've noticed that the emu says i've got 5xxxxx ram memory... 5????

can anyhone give me some hint to make any game playable please?

There will be a new version coming out soon which will be much faster, just be patient until then. ;)

Yes, but even now it is pretty damn fast, perfectly playable, it really shouldn't be as slow as you say. What Snes emulator are you using?
TBH I dont even bother with OS9X... I know it is fairly fast but still feels too slow for me.

This is why I only play consoles of the NES era < on the gp32.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

when snes is finally 100% that will be the greatest day for gp32 ever
well im my opinion

last i heard it was june 10th for a release
has anyone heard any other rumors?

What's taking so long is he still needs to find a way to fit the new asm cpu core & transparency stuff & 4MB roms in the small 8MBs of the gp32's ram.

Yeah, he probably has, but he most likely wants to just try and get it all in there first, before he considers splitting it up.

hmm i'm already using that emu...so i'll be waiting for the new release...

anyone knows why i've got around 5 mb instead of 8? or it's normal? what do u see in the start screen of the emu?

and u think there is some difference if I play a zipped rom? does it reduces the memory?

Question 1:
OpenSNES9x need some ram itself (it's a program, whereelse should it be? ;)) and therefore only 5 of the 8 MB are left for roms.

Question 2:
No, because roms have to be unzipped before they can be run.
If you load a zipped rom, it automatically gets unzipped into the ram.
