Yeti3D Engine Questions

mr twit

A can of spam!
First off, I'd like to say that this kicks ass!!! But I have a few questions:
1) Are models (enemies and whatnot) supported? Because some screenshots of it show two enemies, but I can't figure out how to put them in.
2) Is there, or will there be a gamma option? Some areas of the game are very dark, and others very light.
3) How do you make .raw files for textures? Does anyone know of a website with some premade ones for download?

Also, will any coders be making some templates for, say, shooters, or racers for us to use? 'Cause I can't code to save my life.

Thanks!

1) You would first need to code an AI, so its code-based whats in the levels.

2) You can put and delete lights using the "L"-Key on selected Areas, this will put lights.

i think all enemies / 3d models / sprites have 2 be written into the code yourself + i think they can be put in using the entity function 'e' i do believe its the commercial version that has the model support

Certainly the commercial version has .md2 support... I assume it's possible to add models into the non-commercial one, but it sounds like it'd need a fair code make-over to do so...

For add entity remove the quote on the game.c file.

You have already fire function and basic AI code for the entity (like terminator ia :p).

You have to mak esome sprite too and load it into the sprite structure for use it in the game ;)

When I start the demo on my GP32the Image is too bright and flickering. Anyone Else has this?

no its already in the zipped directory. theres a directory demo_fxe and its in there. you need to copy the fxe as well as the maps directory.
