- Yeti Gpl Version -

yes. It is a graphics engine. You tell it the 3D data to display (i.e. telli t which map to load) and where in the world you are (position, orientation etc) and it draws the scene.

You code how you want your player to move, what to do when it hits walls etc. One every 'frame' you call the engine 'render' command, and it draws it all based on the updated game state data.

That is how general 3D engines work anyway. Some have a little more functionallity and can handle the movement of the player and collisions (with the floor, walls etc). I believe yeti handles basic movement (walk, jump) and collisions with floor and walls, isn't that right Thunderz?

Ya the gpl version have all you need to code a game.

Object, basic IA ect...

Check the demo that done RT7B with 3D model (MD2) it all use YETI 3D GPL version.

The version 1.2 and 2.0 are commercial version of the engine.

but thatd osnt prevent youf rom releasing a small binairy demo of what it is capable to, do it?
would eb realy nice to see what is possible.
