Worth getting a PS Vita yet..?

Why would any of you continue to feed someone who makes a comment like this?

A mod should close this thread, as there is more than enough info for the TC to make an informed decision.

Chris
Are you talking about me? You think I'm the troll?
No, of course not. I was questioning why you where feeding a troll who thinks "quality" is not important? That was all.

This is why once a thread like this goes off the rails it should be closed, as the wrong comments get taken by the wrong targets, and more S**T starts.

^^^I knew he was not referring to you.

Its a use case thing really, ps vita or pandora imo.

Vitas re-deign makes it cheaper to manufacture and it may be bundled together with a ps4, possibly at a low price. The aim is to push ps4 vita cross connectivity.

What interests me is that sony are currently making all the right moves as regards the playstation division. I'm interested to see if they can turn the vita around and how.

I think they might just do it.Ttheir current strategies seem well considered indeed. imo. Time will tell.

The ZikzakPortable will kill it!

Yeah, they finally seem to be on the right track, but I'm far from sold in regards to a "full turn around". I'm hopeful though. I personally never though much about the remote play feature, until the Shield came along, and then I was like, "I can do this with my Vita and PS3, let me give it a try"?

WOW, I was blown away. I hardly never play consoles games anymore, as it's just to much effort to glue myself in front of the TV. Most of my gaming now a days comes from handhelds. So being able to play full console games with the Vita, is a huge selling point for me personally, as I'll probably never use the actual PS4 much.

I really hope the new design and lower price, will help to spur sales, as it is a really nice system. Sadly, Sony hasn't seemed to interested in it over the last few years, but that's looking to change(fingers crossed).

Chris

so youre basing your hope for the vita based on it being able to do what the wiiu gamepad does? thats a bit of a low standard to have id say

what? play your home console more then two walls away? i do wish i could play my wiiu on the shitter though :/

...knock down that 3rd wall that's between your telly and your crappy.

Solved :)

Guys I'd appreciate your opinions.. forgot to buy a memory card & the general price of them as you're all probably aware is pretty ridiculous.. I've seen this: on Ebay which is a lot less ridiculous.. too good to be true??

With exchange rates, that is the going rate for the 64GB card. Be careful with Asian dealers on Ebay, as they have fakes more often than not. http://www.play-asia.com/playstation-vita-memory-card-64gb-paOS-13-49-en-70-7279.html  Play-Asia has them for the same price, and their rep is good.

Yeah.. I know, didn't stop me from buying though (rush of blood to the wallet!) now wishing I had a little more patience.. fingers crossed I'm not yet another victim.

Damn Sony for making proprietary memory card for the Vita!  I wish somebody will make an adapter for it so we can use uSD similar to the Duo for the PSP.

I have a Pandora, 3DS XL and Vita etc and love them all.

If I could only ever have 1 then personally it would be the Pandora purely because I love emulation - it's biggest flaw for me is that the screen is too small but in 2008 it was perfect, how times have moved on.

The Vita is awesome and well worth the money but that is only my opinion.

You should be good, the seller seems legit enough. With Ebay/Paypal's buyer protection protocols even if they don't deliver, you won't be out of your funds. Now you just have to begin the waiting game for overseas shipping. My average wait time over the last month has been about 10 days. GOOD LUCK!
