Hmm, Yes you are right about the connector, for some reason I thought it was at the end of the screen. I could be wrong about the drivers as well...

Is the touchscreen feature of the Wiz part of the screen itself, or is it a separate layer of film that goes over the top of it?

I'm happy with my Wiz' battery life, but I'd like a second USB cable so that I can have one by my computer downstairs and one for my bed upstairs like I do with my phone :)

well the problem with li-ion batteries is that they are supposed to last around 2-3 years before they really start to die wether you use them or not so when the battery goes so does the WIZ :(

The digitizer is stuck to the LCD panel and cannot be removed...i have tried. But as you can see, the screen i am looking at comes with a digitizer. So...this will work? It will cost me about 30 bucks in total and i dont really enjoy wasting money!

Someone posted a link to a site announcing a $50 Black Friday sale on the Wiz. You could pick up one of those and use your current Wiz for spare parts.
