I've been reading about Windows Vista and its system requirements and it boggled my mind. Each window is made of 150 polygons with tranparency effect, but you need 500MB memory for just the OS and requires DirectX9 graphics card with 256MB of video memory? Just running OS alone, there are 54 processes. I can't understand how come the requirement is SO high. OS-X does all that already on much worse specs. How long should we put up with terrible engineering ripoffs?
