I don't think these been posted here, but they seem fairly decent for the price.

The better model, the Storm, costing £199 which isn't too bad for a phone of this spec and SIM free I don't think.
Cyanogen OS based handsets.

Yeah, if I wasn't already budgeting for a Pyra, I'd be getting a Swift.

Edit: I'm less keen on the Storm as it has a fixed battery. I tend to keep my phones long enough that I need a new battery at some point.

Amazon were selling the swift for £100 just before Christmas, got one as a present for my daughter, would certainly consider getting one for myself if I needed a phone. Great bit of kit for the money. Runs off Cyanogen so no bloatware and good security settings. Does everything a phone needs to do with surprisingly good game performance.

Good to see a small British company selling competitively priced quality hardware.

What, besides more hassle, is it you are getting over galaxy s3 levels of performance?

I dont see it if its just a flat 5" screen with no buttons.

http://www.androidfannetwork.com/2013/09/21/the-dark-side-of-cyanogenmod-aka-cyanogen-inc/ doesnt read well either

I think for a lot of people, the security features that the OS offers will be a selling point.
I use Cyanogenmod and one thing I really like is that my notifications on lock screen hide sensitive content, so you can see I have an ebay alert and an email, but it doesn't show what item or who the email is from... I think Android doesn't have that yet, but I could be mistaken.

Also, the S3 is a bit old now eh, and can only be updated to Jellybean, unless you were to flash it with a Cyanogenmod Lollipop flavoured ROM.
So you'll be missing some newer features, and wouldn't be able to use some newer apps and features of apps fully, like the video filters of Snapchat which require 5.0 or above [not best example but one that I encountered only the other day so is in my head]
With these Wileyfox ones, they're new, and the top model [Storm] is still less than the current price of an offline S3 ... just

I have replicant 6.0 on my S3, and a huge battery. You would have to get the s3 used I suppose, but that only means your name isnt attached to the IMEI.
It sounds like the lockscreen-features can be ported. Security on Android has always been broken on cyanogenmod with every version I used.

Even the S2 is still a fantastic phone, and it has the better design. I think we have hit performance equity on touchphones.

I personally never liked the build of Samsung phones, the Galaxy range, until I picked up my S6 model.
Previous ones I thought were always a bit weak feeling.
But I've had solid phones for past few at least, from my Xperia Play which is a solid little thing, to my Chinese gaming phone which were plastic and large but still a solid rugged feel and took drops without damage, then my HTC M7 which was metal and then S6 Edge which was fragile glass but still had a solid feel to it.
The previous Galaxy phones always felt too lightweight for me.
I've not actually seen/held one of these Wileyfox phones myself yet, but they look like they're fairly solid.
I look forward to what the new S7 will be like though in a couple weeks

edit: Just to add, it's specifically the back covers of older Galaxy phones which felt weak, like really thin plastic shell, but the good thing is they're replaceable so could easily throw a new one on if it did crack. Just not very premium feeling to hold

"Free screen replacement"
"ONLY £129"
Words have no meaning anymore! Glarba foo billy tao!

edit: yes, I know, is a joke :p

Ive always thought thin phones feel flimsy. You get more of a quality feel with a heavy battery. Some of which come with rubberised backing that goes all the way to the front. Heavy and sturdy.
