Shortages are worrying though.
Who's ordered and from where?
What's my best bet to make sure I get it before Christmas from a UK online shop?
Later.

i was gonna preorder the 360, but then the rev controller was revealled
if the controllers a gimmick (likely) then ill get the 360, but im in no hurry as the games will be 50 quid each on launch, something i cant afford
i feel the sameKop_007 posted on Sep 25 2005 at 11:25 AM said:Nice one, Fisher.
I've pre-ordered at Play.com.
In my opinion, the XBOX was the king of the last gen consoles
I got p!ssed off with slowdown In PES on the PS2 - so I sold it.
It meant waiting a little longer for certain games, but the improved graphics, loading times and features (like custom soundtracks), made the XBOX better than the PS2.
The gamcube just fizzled out for me. The only thing I consistly played on it was Smash Brothers - best game on the gamecube. StarFox was also excellent (but once done..) as was Star Wars. Mario was crap (what's with all those monged up creatures) and cell shaded Zelda was ok, but the new one is the way they should have went.
A major draw of the XBOX though was my modchip which allows the XBOX to do anything...which is why my old XBOX will be staying under the telly. XBOX Live is a revolution in consoles as well.
However, even minus the modchip capabilites at launch, Microsoft have won me over as a customer. They provide what I want, and they do it well.
Now to decide which game/ games I'll get at launch...
they do........sort ofmoz posted on Sep 25 2005 at 11:32 AM said:£279.99 Delivered all in at play is tempting, as i need to upgrade my graphic card soon and i may just hold off and get a 360 instead.
if only they had keybaord/mouse support
It's so microsoft can shove a bog standard pc into a relatively small case and call it a new console, just like they did with the original. What is it with the XBOX 360's USB ports for the wired pads?
I assume it's so you can use your XBOX 360 pad on a PC and not standard USB perps on the XBOX 360?
