My username is my name+some dumb title I made up for myself.

My sig came from... I don't have a sig. :(

There's already a thread like this here. ;)

Anyhow, my username comes from a character in Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent for the Nintendo DS, by the name of Prometheus. His sibling is named Pandora (thus creating something of a pun that most people won't get anyway :p ), which is why I picked it.

My signature is just some links which I hope prove to be useful or informative.

Everybody knows where YOUR username came from, Sony. :)

My nickname comes from my favorite videogame, Wild Arms. (which Im currently replaying on my Pandora)

Coldbird was a Arctican knight captain who in turn to save his knights, stayed behind in the castle to delay the attacking demons for as long as he could.

He died in action but was able to buy enough time to save the main characters ass.

I saw a bit of myself in him and decided to pick up his name in 1997.

My name is just my high school network username backwards. I chose it at the time because I needed something unique after moving away from a decidedly more pretentious name. It wasn't until a few months later that I realised my name had already been used on a porn site (albeit only once).

My signature is a list of resources I keep losing the references to, masquerading as useful links for other users.

One day - when I've collected all the tech I need / want and I have enough money set aside to live comfortably for a couple of years... I'm going to take myself out of society and focus solely on writing a few children's books.

I've been working on them since HighSchool... and I'm now 30. That's quite some time.

Anyways, the environment in which these stories occur is something of a vastly alternative reality - but still linked in with this one (mostly through what we call our imagination).

We humans try to make sense of our 'otherworldly' experiences - and make up all sorts of fantastical creatures I.e. Faeries, goblins, werewolves, etc.

We use our 'human-ness' as a template and translate these experiences or 'visions' from there.

The truth is these creatures don't look anything like us - they are in fact shape shifters that appear in whatever form is most appropriate to their purpose.

This is quite a long explanation... suffice to say that 'Fairies' are closest in nature/appearance to most of the creatures that populate my books.

Thus the 'Fae' part of my name.

One of my main characters, and one who ends up having quite a lot of dealings with humans is called 'Minka'.

She is a master shape shifter, is rather sly... and is seemingly emotionally detached from everyone and everything. If Minka is around, you can't help but play into her paws whether you realize it or not - more often not.

You won't even know who she really is - believing a completely fabricated reality that she's managed to manipulate into action.

Some have grown wise *after the fact*... and as such a myth grew up around her exploits and the effect she's had on the cultures of different creatures... it's the myth of the 'Minx'.

She is one of my 'imaginary' friends and whispers things to me on a daily basis. ;)

I like her because she's cheeky and very very clever indeed.

Mine is from a fighting game I've spent the past few years deigning. It's basically a mash of all the clichés found in the genre, and it aims to be the best, and most mental 2D fighter ever made. Cameleon is the cliché Lizard-Human character. Similar to Reptile, Riptor and Lizardman.
