A couple of months ago there were people saying "The GP32 is dead" and "It's all been done there is nothing else to do on the GP32" etc. I was just wondering if any of them would like to comment now. The GP32 scene is just about busier than at anytime over the last couple of years as far as I can see.

I love this little bit of kit and wouldn't swap it for any number of DSs or PSPs etc.

Long live the GP32 :)

:D if my name was larry then id be happy :p but seriously the gp32 can never die really

neogeo pocket and id be as happy as larry.
The current one isn't too bad actually, apart from sonic shitting up and no save states, it's one of my more played emulators.

Larry is on Prozac ...

I think with most other devices like the GP32 theres always going to be times when things are quiet, then hectic then back to quiet again

Considering 'f' day is approaching sometime soon then things could get even more hectic. I would love it if 'f' day meant the rest of Rylehs emulators are released ! Who knows but its a great time to be a GP32 owner lately

Word, that Larry needs to chill. But I agree that the current emu is def one of the more playable ones on the gp, though it could be worlds better if only saves were inplimented, in addition to getting rid of the graphical glitches and upping compatability (why oh why in gods name does cardfighters clash not work!?)

personally, an improved NGPC emu is, by far, my most sought after emu

Sorry to spam the thread, But Although not technically proven possible (skeezix has done a few tests), I think an Amiga emulator is possibly the most sought after emulator.

Hope it ain't dead, just bought mine!!!! I think I'll be happy for a long time with this. I have a huge list of games yet to play, and with mame it's getting longer!

But seriously, snes for us BLU+ users, THEN I'd be rolling naked in sausage meat!

(ie. happy)

What I don't get is why noone thought of the possibility to port those NeoGeoCD emulators that run great on the Dreamcast. CDDA or MP3 tracks wouldn't be possible of course, but the iso data tracks fit all on a 128mb smc (most of them are even smaller) and a game with sound fx and great graphics is better than no game at all.

Technically it should be very possible, since we even have assembly cores, where the DC only uses C/++ ones, and the Dreamcast isn't really much faster than a GP32 concerning emulation (at least nothing running at frameskip 1 or 2 wouldn't fix).

Forget it, GP32 doesn't have enough memory or CPU speed for Neo Geo.
