What's all this thermal heat pad business? The 2x I got back is a second edition, and apparently bereft of these overclocking catalysts. Can anyone put up a screen shot of what they are, or maybe how to put some in there to overclock higher?

Also, I reach 266 stable and 272 for about 10 minutes.

they are sticky little rubber pads like this: http://images.google.co.uk/images?q=tbn:sY...0805fbbb715.gif

only mine from my dreamcast where grey.

i took 2 out of my dreamcast, and placed them on top of both of the ARM processors, and re-assembled the gp2x, simple.

Hmm, supposedly, those pads were removed, because they caused interference with the LCD.

yes, they did, but only if there's more than 2, i guess they just decided to take them out alltogether cause they're lazy bastards.

I dont get it. I have a first run system, no pads at all. Its not even 1st eddition, its first run first eddition. Hm...
Why I have no pads? I dunno.

I keep mine at 266, play it safe. Most Games run fine at this speed, anywho.

... you mean you OC to 266 ... all the time? There's no need man ... you're killing your batteries needlessly ... DrMDx runs pefectly at 200mhz.
