Hi, I am curious if there is any plans to emulate some of those "forgotten" systems. I personally would like to see the Phillips CD-i, or an emulator for the Tiger Game.com system. What do you think should be emulated?

I really hope somebody can emulate (simulate?) Nintendo's Game & Watch series!!!

It might be really cool and nostalgiatic when it comes handheld!

my guess is that what we're seeing now are all ports of current emulators, and systems that are completely forgotten, will stay that way for some time.

still, nothing says fun like a Supervision or Pippen emulator.

When GB emulator comes out, your wish can come true. :)

Yes, and I knew they even include some good looking enhanced versions on GBA.

But I might be satisfy with just one or two Game & Watch simulator :)

What about the 3DO!!!

THE THREE DEE OOHHH-yaaa

Sorry ... I'm getting a little too nostalgic.

What was that capture the flag type game where there were four vehicles you could use ? That game kicked serious rump.

For the 3DO you might want to contact these guys or ask them on their forums. As they seem interested in porting their emulator to a number of systems.

I played the windows PC version of that it was called:

RETURN FIRE

Splitscreen mode was cool. There is a sequel I think.

HERE it is.

Don'tcha mean Pippin? A MAC-console, hence the name, a variety of apple...

http://www.macgeek.org/museum/pippin/information.html

Seems like it could be emulated in 2X, but I'm not too sure about what it would actually emulate. :) Perhaps a combined MAC+Pippin emulator...

Nice controller, where have I seen that shape later?

Well there isnt even a working cd-i emulator for the pc so don't expect one any time soon

Edit: Obviously things have changed since I last looked at cd-i emulators and now there seems to be a shareware cd-i emu floating about

zophar.net has gots stacks of emus. everything from a wonderswan to a 'speak-and-spell' to a texas-instruments calculator! just had a look and he's got a new as-yet unavailable gp2x section.

its certainly worth browing the dos/windows releases to see what's around that might be potentially gp2x portable. don't get too carried away tho. someone's gotta actually do the port <_<
