Well I was browsing around and there are a lot of systems that could be probably easily emulated on the GP and could be good fun to add it to the GP32s emulation repertoire, even if they didn't succeed or anything.. I'll start with some ideas, add yours as well hehehe I also include links for the systems just for you guys to have fun with discussing and saying I suck :p

SuperVision handheld

Cybico & cybico extreme (has a LOT of free official games/apps to download and there's also a big devver community for it - dunno if it can be emulated but would be a hell of an opportunity)
http://www.cybiko.com/index_uk.asp

Tiger's Game.com (if we could bypass the touch screen thingy in some way)
http://www.roarvgm.com/systems/GAMECOM/

Gameking (hehehe)
http://www.gbax.com/new/gameking.html

Gamate (lol the description is hell funny)
http://www.roarvgm.com/systems/GAMATE/index.html

ActionMAX (strange thingy, never heard of it!)
http://www.vidgame.net/Action_Max/actionmax.htm

Socrates (what the hell is this?)
http://www.vidgame.net/vtech/socrates2.htm

These are my suggestions for the list :p Add your own :p

Ehehe we're building quite a list. I don't think Virtual Boy could be emulated on the GP though, but hey, I ain't no expert :p If one out of 10 suggestions would work is good enough for me :D

Then there is:

Vectrex
Intellivision
Atari 2600 (the one we have is pretty poor)

It would be nice if the Vectrex emulator was polished off, but at the end of the day you can't beat playing the real thing - I would urge people to grab themselves one while they can. I reckon they'll start to become a bit thin on the ground soon as they wear out without any replacement parts being available...

Magnavox Odyssey2

AKA - Philips G7000

G7000 Emu would be amazing :D.. Doesnt need much power as all the graphics are made from squares :p

Better Neo Geo Pocket Color - May soon happen though due to F-Day, although I'd be fine with the one we have if it could only SAVE

Emulating a Cybiko might not be out of the question, I've been kicking around writing an emulator for the H8S/2246 it uses as its main CPU.

Yeah I do think cybico would be an hell of an oportunity. Even though it's only B&W it still has an active dev scene and all of the apps/games/etc can be downloaded for free from cybicos' webpage.
Keep us informed on that work of yours! :D

You could always pull the same trick the red dragon emulator does and use the red/blue 3d glasses. Oh boy! [/sarcasm]

That would be pretty cool though. Problem is, I don't see anyone wanting to work that hard on an emulator for a system with like 20 games.

I'd love to see the Pokemon Mini and Gameking emulated. This thread is a brilliant idea, well played exael. It's also a good feeling to think that so much great stuff is emulated on the GP32 we're going down to the right basics. :)

Definitely better than the thread of people whining about "oh, ryleh, PLZ make this I need it OMGLOLZORZ"

Personally, I'd like to see the R-Zone Emulated, for what it's worth. I used to love Battle Arena Toshinden on this. Trouble is, the roms would not have the graphics, just the code. Someone would have to draw the graphics because the cartridges were like slides with lcd shapes in them.

Eheheh thanks, actually I did it to kill some time but the main idea is for people to join up efforts and knowledge and check out what else can be emulated other than what we already have :D At least we can get a list :p Maybe it's worth somrething and someone actually finds out something they would like to work on ;P

Cybiko would be one of the best shots, though! But pretty much everyone around here had this or that system and would like them to be on their gp :p So just tell us all about it :p

That's actually not a bad idea! It would require some work though, but would be a winner entry for a future compo ;P

Now for probably the most stupid suggestion.... Maybe Ngage could be emulated?
They use a 104Mhz ARM and has like 3 megs of memory... Any thoughts about it about anyone who actually knows about these things?
