Systems That Haven't Been Emulated Yet...

Yeah a Cybiko emu would be great. Are there any for the PC that could be ported I wonder? That would one of those obscure systems that would be cool to have and could probably be emulated perfect.

Yeah it sure would, I think there is AT LEAST one cybiko emulator around for PC, dunno about its source code though

Yeah you're right, I've seen this one before, and did notice the "firefly" but for some reason I didn't think he was the same! Has he been hiding this from us all along? Eheheheh. That's pretty good news! Anyone thinks he'll be willing to code an emu for the GP or assist someone on it?

EDIT: ravuya, you can always talk with him about it since you're working on emulating that CPU ;P

For most of the systems mentioned there are not even dumped roms let alone any usable hardware documentation. I have searched for some of them and found no hw info at least...

i have a cybiko extreme.

afaik, the comunity is dead

www.cydevr.net was the last website standing

This page neglects a very important system.

Anyone interested in TI-83? That thing was a blast to mess with in basic.

Ah... good memories. That was my first programming language.

Tamagotchis would be great! I remember when everyone had like a doezon a tamagotchi conversion would be good, i know that there is the other game monster ranch or something but i think a Basic Tamagotchi clone would be great! ^_^

No real time clock would pretty much make that impossible.

There's nothing to keep you from producing a virtual pet game where it just saves state every time you exit and then resumes when you load the program back up. It wouldn't be constantly challenging like the Tamagotchi things, but you also wouldn't drive your damn car off the road because you were busy feeding your cartoon squid.

I see the Atari ST has been emulated but i've never seen an amiga? Is there any reason for this?

Really?!?! That surprises me for some reason...I thought the ST and the Amiga weren't that far apart from one another.

They are very much different. The Amiga had many more coprocessors, and far superior sound to the ST. This is harder to emulate. the ST was much simpler hardware.

Perhaps I'll resume work on my Crap Games Compo Tamogatchi clone.
