AFAIK stereoscopy works by sending alternate frames to alternate eyes. The Pandora could do this, it's just a case of the software supporting it.
There are about a gazillion different ways of representing stereoscopy. There are several competing formats that involve alternating frame, most of them almost, but not quite, compatible.
Some of them require a blue line after every frame, some of them require some data at the beginning of each frame, some of them want an interlaced signal with the diferent eyes alternating lines, Some VGA goggles want a special sync signal over the I2C channel, etc.
I'm not saying that it's not possible, just that it can be a real pain to get working. You need to know what kind of hardware you want to work with. There is no general solution that works with all stereoscopy equipment.
