Hi,

My 'Enable USB host' is not working.

The first day I got the OP (1ghz) I put in a 4GB USB and click enable.

It worked. A week later, now the USB flash just blinks every second.

I tried two other usb flash drives and nothing.

But I have also tried on a second Panodra (Rebirth) it does the same thing, which makes me think it could be USB flash issue.

Strange that it worked many times for the first two or three days (over 20 times!).

Is there any special criteria for USB?

Strange that it just stopped working.

Although the Rebirth pandora has never worked for me[uSB Host] (bought from here).

Have you rebooted recently? The USB host has a habit of crashing under specific circumstances which you may have accidentally triggered. Not entirely likely, but cover the easy stuff before digging deeper, eh?

Yes, I have also reflashed a handful of times.

Rebooted when it failed.

Works well out of the box.. hehe.. Does what it says on the box.

Was working, then not long later just stopped.

It could be the USB Flash, but the drive is still working fine everywhere else.

I have issues with my 1ghz's USB port I haven't been able to fix yet. See:

I'll have to send mine in for that at some point, not too sure about yours though.. =/

I've found that if I have a USB stick inserted BEFORE I toggle USB host on that it can often do something that sounds similar (USB stick doesn't show up, it's LED flashes though) - so I always toggle USB on and wait a few seconds before inserting the stick and that seems to work best for me.

I will try that (USB after toggle).

I have my Pandora at work today.... For work use of course!

(I'm trying to boot Gentoo now)

Edit: Enable and then insert worked.

I will test on my GigaDora tonight. Thanks!
