Unofficial Bebo Group

I suppose not... It just doesn't have that ring! OK, I'll PM Craig and ask for his, erm, blessing!

No offense Jourdy but if I'm Craig and see Feb 11th, 2011 right under the picture of the Pandora along with the following

Should you get a Pandora?
100%
"It's like this: A Gamers B Worker C Socialite D Amish E A good hacker (like a good witch)"

I would have to say no.

What's this about Open Pandora making quizzes, and Socialite Amish Hacker Witches? Is this younger person humor I just don't get or something?

I have no idea what your Bebo site is trying to do, but if I'm an OP team member, I wouldn't appreciate the confusing, and frankly strange way this site is portraying my company and product. Really.

You may have had good intentions but if this Bebo site was the first I ever heard of the Pandora, I'd click away and never look back. Personally, I'm thanful that is not the case.

most people haven't heard of bepo and you want to use it to gain an audience? mmmmm ok

I'm sure when all of the hyper-cool embryos on bebo get bored of taking pictures of themselves with their mums kitchen knives, throwing gang signs and giving themselves lego hair, maybe they would become interested in the Pandora for the nanosecond it takes them to realise that it's not made by sony

It isn't official unless they gave you permission, I do not see any endorsement from the OpenPandora group here, consider renaming it.
Also, I have a bebo(joined, did nothing more), and I am only getting spam from them for totally random people adding me.

Why does it display Feb 11 2011? I haven't a clue, quite frankly, I think there's a glitch somewhere.... well, we got another member, yippee.
With the quiz, if you get mostly A, you'll get the Pandora for games, mostly B you'll get it for business, etc.

Please take the beebo page down, it makes it look like a hoax or some terrible chinese-eeepc copy. It makes it feel... How do I put this... unappetising.

Well, I PM'd Craig, if I can get his blessing (and help) we can make it... alot better. Have anything in mind to make it tasty?

I'd move it to a social networking site with a statistically-significant user base, like Facebook. Such a page is worthless regardless of how well-designed it is if no people see it.

You could photoshop some gang colours, a kitchen knife, and lego hair onto the pandora picture, that should go down a storm

LOL, I think not...
But seriously, I say that all their base are belong to us! We need to take them at all fronts- we have a Facebook already, I say we go for them from Bebo, it's an untapped market. It's like what Pepsi did with African Americans- nobody was advertising to them. Thus, they took advantage of a niche market, and now, we have Pepsi really popular.
Besides, this page is just our representation on Bebo, it's not like we should only have one social network, lol.

The major difference here is that Pepsi tastes crappy, whereas the Pandora, well, is not a soft drink. Or something. Anyway, advertising isn't really an issue, since there aren't actually any available units to advertise, but if Craig doesn't mind, go for it...

And you forgot to say Pepsi is significantly cheaper than the Pandora. Atleast people go out on a limb and say, "Hey, maybe I'll TRY a Pepsi for a $1.50; if I don't like it, I'll give it to someone else."

"Hey, maybe I'll TRY a Pandora for a $350; if I don't like it, I'll give it to someone else." - Doesn't sound catchy..

Well lets say we get 0.01% of facebook to look at our page, thats still like 50000 people, but on beebo even if we get 100% that's only 10 people.
