Uboot Uh-ohs

Blue screen? Please explain in more detail. A bricked gp2x normally shows a screen that gradually fades to colored vertical lines. If your not getting this, then uboot should still be present.

Ok, you got the first step - The Uboot !
Now you should flash your GP2x with a real Image:
e.g. JiffsKernel as gp2xkernel.img
Copy it on your SD Card
Turn on GP2X and press START
You should get to the Menu and now choose UPGRADE FIRMWARE
After Flashing is done turn off your GP2X .
Delete the gp2xkernel.img if still present on your SD-Card.
Then insert SD-Card and boot normally !

You can also take the official Image from GPH 1.4.0
or the OPEN2X Image.
If you want to use open2x you should install the filesystem before
you flash it. This was my mistake I made.
If you need instructions on OPEN2X tell me !

Hello,

I have upgraded uboot to art103's uboot, when i select upgrade firmware it hangs up and what i see from serial connection is :

UPDATE BOOT UPDATE ** Can't read from device 0 **

What could be the problem. I use a bootable SD card. Can anyone help me to figure this out?

techFreak,

Did you talk to Art103?

I got the uBoot (relocated to run as the Kernel) installed but, on the blue screen, when I come to "Upgrade Firmware" with the "gp2xboot.img"... it just sits with the green progress bar around halfway and never progresses any further.

### Edit:
Boy - do I feel stupid... I was forgetting to press "start" and running from the Kernel relocated firmware. All fixed now. Wow. Its fast.

 :) :)
