Tv Adapter Issues

I have just received my cable adapter today and tried to view a movie on the TV screen (Firmware 1.1.0, with the specialized program for TV-Out).

Unfortunatly, that does not seem to work: The first television displayed only colorful lines, and the second television presented nothing but a blank screen. The GP2X seemed to freeze and crash in both cases and I had to reboot.

Did anyone else encounter these issues?

-- Edit: Just noticed that i've accidently posted this in GP32 rather then GP2X.. oopsie.

I've had a similar issue, even when holding the cable in. The video just shows up as semi-random black-and-white lines on the screen. Yuck.

I wondered if it had something to do with NTSC vs. PAL output? Or encoding problems?

I'm waiting until I get a good S-Video female -> RCA adapter to do more testing. The S-Video inputs on my TV are in the back, and messing with it is quite obnoxious.

The local television in Israel is using PAL (B)... Looks like South Korea is NTSC (M). I'll go and see if forcing the TV to switch to NTSC helps.
