I don't know if this belongs here.

Being very ignorant on this matters, I was wondering how would the Tizen OS "impact" (so to speak) the pandora.

Could the software released for the Tizen be easily ported?

Or maybe it would be possible to run the Tizen OS on the pandora ?

I'm curious whether these HTML 5 based environments will actually offer any benefit (like development costs or user experience). To me it seems like just another even less inspired rehash of MS' push to make IE into an application platform, but maybe increased bandwidth and computing power on mobile devices do change the equation.

We (Paw Print Games) have ported several of our titles to Tizen ready for the launch. All of our titles are native (C++ not HTML 5). I know they are pushing HTML 5 but I will be interested to see how many 'proper' games follow this route.

Remembering this other thread about Visual Studio and plugins: have you looked into HTML 5 development tools? Are they adequate for game development?
