These sort of games look like what would be the result of using the crazy programming methods taught a few years ago which strip and discourage imagination etc.
I can just see them making one of those flow sheets for that game and it looking good on paper to someone who has never played a game in their life but thought they would try making one for money. See also a few of the other GP32 'commercial' games.
