The What Music Are You Listening To Thread

question. does anyone ever listen to anyone else songs that gets posted?

Yes, depends on the poster and if I already know the song or artist. There are some songs/artists that I still listen to and heard here first (e.g. Ronald Jenkees)

My favourite Jenkees track is Disorganized Fun. Also found out about "voices", music from FF.

Here is an obscure track I like. Lyrics is creepy though.

@Strigoi: Man, that is mindnumbing music man! you need more jazz and stuff... this one has profound lyrics, when I die, I want this song played at my funeral. It will give hope.

And this lyrics should appeal to any of us here tinkering with the Pandora:

Sorry Bro.... 't wasn't my intention to hurt...

Here's some dope rap "God Bless" (of course, blessing is a pagan word, sprinkle blood, but whatever):

Future Islands - Seasons

...I'm waiting for the performance just shown on Jools Holland program now to crop up online to post, as that was better than the versions I see on YT.

The lead guy has got some serious moves, I just had to rewind and watch it 5 times over :) Great stuff

A stunning piece of ambience courtesy of Popol Vuh from what is probably my all time favourite movie.. still get goosebumps watching the opening scene that this music plays over.

If you've never seen Aguirre, I strongly urge you go check it out.. phenomenal cinematography, great music & a simply astonishing performance from Kinski.

I aggree, Kinski was allowed to play the asshole he really was and is doing it very fine, which is no surprise when you are actually playing yourself.

Werner Herzog was an awesome director, I got this and other movies from him on DVD.

Kinski is about my least favourite person in the complete history of the movie business but there was a place for someone like him after all.

There was kind of a remake in a viking setting with Mads Mikkelsen called Valhalla Rising.

It's actually a really good Valse/Waltz/Walzer, I'd dance to it.

I may introduce it to my monthly folk session.
