I'm currently listening to "K.K. Story", which is a K.K. Slider (from Animal Crossing) remix of the main theme from Cave Story.

I have finally gotten round to organizing a proper music SD card, with nothing but a few players (GMU, Rockbox, qtSpotify), and the rest dedicated to music. First thing on that was the bloody excellent album "Node", by "Node". So, that is playing right now

I was reminded of it the other day by a friend, who called it "one of the very few perfect albums", and it really is.

Apart from that, the card so far contains some Plastikman, Hamell on Trial, Autechre, and a bunch of Capoeira music.

I listen to classic rock

Does that actually mean something? I don't mean this in a bad way, I'm genuinely curious. I have understood that in particular in the USA, there is a lot more emphasis on genre, and most genre names I can sort of map to some kind of music, but "classic rock" has always sounded like a non-genre to me - What you get when you take away all the things that actually has any characteristics.

Let me rephrase that: What does one listen to, when one listens to "Classic Rock"?

I'm listening to something old but current as always

The un-named bunch of Capoeira music would appreciate being named over here please, especially if its on qtSpotify

I would say classic rock pertains to anything more than 20 years old, or a band that has started more than 20 years ago. If you've ever seen The Men Who Stare At Goats, Lyn Cassidy (George Clooney) uses alcohol and classic rock to remote view.

Here's some grunge:
