i never understood this stuff. i mean, once you use some electronic piece of equipment, even once, the price drops quite a bit, so i don't understand how you're supposed to say it's still worth $X even when you paid $X, but if you were to sell it you'd probably only make $X/2... (well, maybe the Pyra is an exception to that )
when i went to the NL for an extended stay, the customs people didn't want anything to do, even though i was trying to tell them i had brought in some laptops. very briefly, they asked if it was for personal use, and when i told them it was, they told me to skip customs. then they went back to chatting with each other. (not complaining, btw.)
