Swirly Pictures Desktop Thing

I was visiting my cousin at his dorm and he had this really cool looking desktop.

what it was was it took a picture and basically just swirled it all over the place in real-time on the desktop (as a wall paper).

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to do this?

If not I can always ask my cousin when he comes home in a few weeks.

But it'd be helpful if someone here knew what I was talking about and could give me a link or something. Thanks

well that's not what I was talking about cause my cousin had a prgrom installed that did it but it will work till my cousin gets back from colledge

Well, you can overlay output from programs such as winamp AVS/Milkdrop or your TV card, etc. just by having your desktop set to the overlay color.

haha

that pictures good

its like the swirls are doing stuff behind your back

everytime u look at it it stops, and another bunch start moving

I was looking at that for a while, and my ear started to hurt randomly :P Wierd. really cool though
