I wonder if he could make a version of SuperZaxxon for smart phone and Android would be possible to replace him? I think the only way I would buy a smart phone.

what are the difficulties?
what would that be done?
among other things ...

Getting Angstrom (what Zaxxon is based on) to boot from a smartphone / tablet computer is simple depending on the device, it's actually what the OS was originally designed for.. Getting the PND system working wouldn't be that difficult. The issues would be getting the phone features to work as not all phones have opensource drivers and such. The other issue, depending on the type of architecture the phone's SoC uses it's most likely it wouldn't be binary compatible to the Pandora.. so Pandora PNDs wouldn't work on the phone unless it uses a similar SoC.

Why Angstrom? I'd rather have Debian or Slackware running on my phone.

Lets wait and see how well Ubuntu does in 2014. It might open the smartphone sector for other distributions too.

Debian is my preference. All the advantages of Ubuntu without the botnet

I don't know, but 1 GHz and 512 MB for minimal requirement, so hard and heavy.

Edit: Ubuntu mobile requirement.
