I'm still wondering about this, which I didn't really get an answer to:

Is the Pyra OS going to have a policy to put any proprietary programs added to its repository in a "non-free" section, so that someone who wants to avoid proprietary programs can do so (either by using vrms or by removing the "non-free" section from their sources.list)? I'm wondering this because it would make it tremendously easy to use the Pyra as a mobile computer with no proprietary software on it (other than embedded firmware in things like flash memory chips). Also, it should be quite easy to do, and wouldn't hurt the Pyra's main audience in any way.
