I have a CC pandora and since I've had it, I have only been able to get 90 - 100 kbytes/s out of it in transfer speed. But what is more strange is that when it is downloading something all my other devices on the wifi network can't function. Meaning that when I try to download with my Nexus 7 tablet (2012 version) its download speed it just a couple of kbytes/s or it times out. I'm a bit lost here to what the pandora is doing.

I've seen similar behavior on CC too, I think the chip has trouble receiving, so it keeps retransmitting (thinking it's message wasn't received by the router) and interfering with everything else. Board tweaks on Rebirth/1GHz units seemed to alleviate this issue at least, so those pandoras behave much better with others on the network.

Does closing pandora's lid reduce the problem (I mean can other devices function better then)?

What kind of wireless point do you have set up, and what do you have running on it?
I have Buffallo WZR-D1800H running dd-wrt running 2 wireless networks. One is the 2,4 GHz network and another 5 GHz network. Went I did the test with the pandora. The only other thing connected to the network was my Nexus 7 (2012 model) running Android 4.4.4 (stock).

Haven't tried closing the lid.

EDIT: Tried closing the lid didn't change or improve the behaviour of the other devices.
