Hey all, i was just wondering, and i thought to myself, damn we need a sports game, such as basketball, i no there are some soccer ones but i dont no if they are good or not. anyone has any comment on a gp32 sports game that they would recommend.

If anyone would port one im sure i would b able to find some open source code for you to port.

Btw: I hate pepsi and apple "computers".

yeah if somebody did a GP32 versions of some of nekketsu games on the NES but with a new twist and better graphics that would rule B)

These are some I like to play:

Basketball - NBA Jam on SNES
Baseball - Penant 2 on MSX or Baseball 2020 on SNES
Tennis - Mario Tennis on GBC
Football - International Superstar Soccer Deluxe or Sensi Soccer on SNES
Surfing - California Games on Master System
Wrestling - Wrestlemania Arcade or Royal Rumble on SNES
Sumo - Ouzhmo on SNES
Fishing - Super Black Bass on SNES

I hope this helps you :)

Speedball 2 on Castaway i great fun... Not exactly a straight sport game... but great fun.

I've been playing a bit of Final Match Tennis on GPengine, but find it absurdly difficult.

There's a review of Dooly Soccer in my mag, and it ain't that good. Famista (JAP Baseball) on the NES and SNES don't seem to work properly on the emu's. Shame, as they really desreve to be played.

a port of hyper sports or track and field would be top bannana

smythe

best playable (ie- good speed) sports games on the Gp32 are imo Sensible Soccer (SNES) and the billiant, yet frustratingly hard Final Match Tennis (PCengine).

Give them a try.
