Spilt A Cup Of Hot Water All Over My Gp2x

The Apple III had a fault where when it overheated (which was often) the boards would shift out of their sockets from expansion/contraction as the machine was turned on/off. Apple Tech support would instruct you to pick up a few feet and drop it on a flat surface to push the boards back into place. The Mac IIsi (mine!) had a fault where the connectors to the speakers were not soldered but just physically touched. When they got dirty/corroded, if you didn't want to clean them, the best way to restore sound from the internal speaker when it went silent was to just smack the side of the machine.

Why the hell did you turn it on!?!?!
What you should have done was let it dry out first.

i left it for 5 hours first. and that includes a period of 5 minutes under a hand dryer. if it happens again i'll be sure to leave it untouched for a night at least.
