Space Action/rpg

If you can get together a team of designers, artists, programmers and musicians who are willing work for nothing you should have it in 12-18 months - no problem.

Actually, I'm working on an open engine for that style of game, with a GP2X port of course... it won't be nearly as advanced as that engine, but it's coming along very nicely.

you could try epic's solar winds in dosbox. don't know how it will run but damn i loved that game.

I had a real bitch of a time tracking down Solar Winds. From the looks of things most abandonware sites won't touch it. Fun game, though. I had it back in the day but who the fuck knows where those floppies are now.

yeah i've only ever played the shareware version. too short though. but it turns out my friend still has his copies of loom and monkey island...score...

Just the shareware version, not the full one.

I'd have bought it too, but I don't like to buy the same game twice.

yeah, i'm interested in buying some games from epic classics but i really can't justify sending over 30 bucks (depending on game) and waiting for disks to come in the mail. it's not 1995, just email me the damn thing. and there's no reason to charge as much now for the games as they did back when they were new.

i really think they'd do better if they made a few cd compilations with some full version games and sold them for $20-30 each. whatever.
