the speakers of the gp are kinda loud, and some player also allow sound boosting, gpmadmp3 haves a equalizer, so you can get more bass, when you turn the volume to 100% its kinda loud, you can hear it good in the entire room

It's pretty good but the sound lacks slightly in Bass (even) with good in ear headphones...

in ear headphones suck for bass... proper (old style) headphones are better for bass because the speakers are bigger

For my opinion alas, the GP32 speakers are loud enough to be finely heard through a middle- sized, rather quiet room, neither the GBC nor the GBA could do this.
