Does anyone know of a good snes emu that will support my sidewinder 32 pro plus? Im using zsnes at the moment and i cant seem to get it working
I have a gravis gamepad pro (Brilliant pad, Don`t use it now though), I had problems with joypads because i have a sound blaster live and it causes detection problems between joypads and windows via it game port.Chip posted on Jul 31 2003 said:I'm not sure if they still make them, but look for the Gravis Xterminator. It's got a d-pad and analog stick, 6 main buttons (2 rows of 3), digital and analog shoulder buttons, start/select buttons, an analog sliding throttle, and a 4-way hat switch. It's also the most comfortable controller I've ever used, and it's so solidly built you could club a kitten to death with it.
It acts like a standard 10 button analog/digital joystick under windows, but it comes with drivers that let you assign key presses to any of the buttons. There's yet another button to switch from the primary key mapping to a 2ndary one. I've never found a game it doesn't work with.
Here's an Ebay auction for one, currently at $1.50. I think I only paid about $30 for mine, and that was when they were still being made.
