S sgbfree Still Fresh Jun 9, 2003 #1 I find the "Snes Emu" more playable, it's quite a bit quicker than Snes9xGP especially for Mode7 stuff such as F-Zero, MarioKart. OK, it's not got sound but when you're out and about it's often best to turn the sound down anyway.

M mallrat37 Member Jun 10, 2003 #4 yup snes emu for me, lemming is great, and you dont need sound for that
S Shrike Active Member Jun 10, 2003 #5 well i only like rpgs on snes really so snes9xgp is the one for me
D deanollive Member Jun 10, 2003 #6 snes9xgp for me, most speed issues can be sorted using the frameskip option. Gundam is more than playable using the frameskip at 6 or 7 All my other games ie: megaman x,lemmings 2, contra are superb when the frameskip is addressed? Just my oppinion so dont post saying this that and the other. Every GP to their own?

Tobriand Well-Known Member Jun 10, 2003 #7 Snes9x here as sound and save are so important to me. Although snesemu is the only sensible choice if you're going for platform/sctioney games atm. Hopefully that'll change soon.
