Just thought id have a bit of a go at designing a simple program for my GP32, however my brothers taken it AND my SMC away with him ( ), so ive been using the SMC image program which runs in DOS. Only problem is, i cant actually manage to create an SMC image. Any help here? Id like to test my program in GeePee32 so i dont have to wait till my brother gets back. Any help creating the SMC image?

Make a subdirectory under C:\ called C:\GPFS, then under that make the folders GAME, GPETC, GPMM, GPSYS and MP3. Then just put the files you need into the directories, and run

makesmc "c:\gpfs" "c:\path\to\file.smc"

Should work... your GP32's Free Launcher won't work though, you have to encode one for GeePee32 (can't remember how offhand).

By the way, if your program doesn't use any external files, compile it to a gxb file, then just run it on geepee32 directly (File -> Load -> GXB)

GeePee also loads .fxes directly.

And you could get around the freelauncher issue by using Pacrom as the bios rather than the official one it looks for first...
