Sharp X68000 Computer

It's on a par with the Amiga (its pretty similar architecture, but the main cpu is actually faster (the basic 68000 model was 16MHz, IIRC) and most of the sound is via custom midi hardware and stuff... the system does indeed rock... I've wanted to pick up a real one for some time now).... but dont hold yer breath.

Most of the work done on the Amiga emulator will directly assist in an X68000 port; the primary goal is getting the processor emulated at a nice speed, and then we can get down on working on the custom chips that make up the rest of the X68K.

This computer was pretty big in Japan and had tons of great games, many were arcade perfect. Would this system be emulatable?

Check out info about the system here:-

As well as a list of other Japanese Computers Here :-

Oh and, theres also a list of emulators already written for it on that site, so there may be source code available.

That would be the biggest dream emu with Amiga on GP32 :)
Btw on any handled playable machine ;op I'm wishing that some god coders would look one day into the source of Amiga or X68k soon or later :p
bah... maybe on GP64?? ;op
