Well so many people have been asking for it and i've had some spare time while TTX waits for media that I thought I would give it a go.

super early beta thing. no sound yet and due to dodgey input its barely playable (forward really hates registering and its possiable to make yourself spin on the spot :/). But it runs and goes in game and prooves im not talking out my bottom
Its based off JunoF's JFBuild engine. I hoped to have it much more playable before i went to bed (a challenge from woogal.. hah! told you I would have it "going" before I slept ) but ran into a couple of slow-me-downs and its now 6:20am and im tired As i'm tired and I cant be arsed to explain everything, heres the readme file because im sure half of you dont even bother to read them in the archive
hopfully nicer progress tomorrow *falls into bed*
readme.txt:
Shadow Warrior GP2X
This is my port of the JF-Build and JF-Shadow Warrior engines written by JunoF.
http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/index.php?p=jfsw
This is a VERY early pre-release, alpha, proof of concept, whateveryouwannacallit demo. Its barely playable thanks to dodgey input (half and half my fault and the gp2x's stick) and it has no sound. But it DOES load and you can happily browse through the menu and start the game and even play it to an extent. But I imagine the controls will frustrate you before you get anywhere in the game
Anyway, extract this archive if you havnt already to a folder on your SD card - it should be fine anywhere on the card but I have been testing it in a folder called sw on the root of my card. Then, if you havn't already, install your official copy of shadow warrior on to your pc like normal (should work with the shareware demo too, not tested) and simply copy SW.GRP to the same folder.
Put the SD in your gp2x, boot, goto the games menu and then execute Shadow Warrior.gpe.
Once in, use joystick to navigate (WARNING: its sensitive! will fix in the next "proper" release), B button to select a menu option and X to go back (both buttons also sensitive, sorry). Goto the keyboard settings and check to see if buttons are bound (it might not of saved my config) and if not, or if you dont like them, edit by simply pressing B on the option you would like to change then press the GP2X button you would like. When you press a button it wont display in the menu correctly, it will display a keyboard key instead because currently the gp2x buttons are bound to key presses.
These are the keys the buttons are bound to currently, worth remembering incase you need to press a special button to do something (escape to cancel, return to confirm, Y to exit, etc):
Start = Escape (when in game, this opens the menu, X closes it again)
Select = Space
Joystick Click = Return
Volume Up = v
Volume Down = f
L = l
R = r
X = x
Y = y
A = a
B = b
Joystick Directions = Arrow Keys
If you find a bug I don't know about you can report it either at the forum thread (where you should of got this from) or email me at dave@melted.com
The bugs I know about ARE:
Input is a mess (will fix after some sleep )
Mouse cursor displays in top left (..just dont ask why)
Trying to load a saved game crashes (at least it did for me)
No Sound (the entire sound source file is commented out atm, heh)
This is mainly just to show i'm activly working on getting SW running on the gp2x and making progress. Enjoy.
