not 2 long ago there was a topic on playstation emulation. if this is possible, would the gp32 be able 2 handle sega saturn emulation?
I didn't buy any commercial one, and I don't have a 2 GHz processor (only 1.4 GHz). So I maintain what I said.Twinbee posted on Apr 18 2004 at 12:45 PM said:Girigiri Saturn (NOT Girigiri Project) on a 2ghz or above can play most games at full speed. Only problem being it's a hacked commercial japanese emulator from Sega so i'm not going to tell you where you can get it.
Couldn't?jlebrech posted on Apr 18 2004 at 03:41 AM said:even the sega saturn could run itself. lol.
even the xbox people think saturn emulation is impossible
No way. The Saturn had 2x Hitachi SH-2 RISC CPUs @ 30MHz each, with an SH-1 @ 20 MHz (the infamous 'SVP' chip in Virtua Racing, and the Model 1 architecture), on top of whatever sound hardware it had. The GP32 @ 166MHz wouldn't stand a chance of emulating that.V3X posted on Apr 18 2004 at 10:22 AM said:not 2 long ago there was a topic on playstation emulation. if this is possible, would the gp32 be able 2 handle sega saturn emulation?
